The letter to your Legislator should be brief and include the following points:
• Please Save the Early Childhood Block Grant

The proposed 2003 budget for Illinois proposes to eliminate all Illinois State Board of Education Early Childhood Services

• A few sentences on how our program has helped young children and thier famiies
• Remember to include your name and address at the bottom.
• Date the letter at the top.
• Include your return address on the envelope.
