We the undersigned believe the State of Illinois 2003 Budget Proposal should include the continued funding for the Illinois State Board of Education Early Childhood Block Grant. Prekindergarten-At-Risk, Model Parental Training and Prevention Initiative Early Childhood Block Grant Programs increase school readiness and support parents to provide environments that promote children's growth and development.
